The Gold Card is suited for well-established businesses with a positive cash flow and excellent credit history.  With the Gold Card, you can save a total of $250 off most Delta Flights.  You can also earn 20,000 miles on your first purchase.  These miles can be used to pay for Delta seats at any time, with no black-out dates and with no seat restrictions.  There is no fee for the first year or for any additional cards you apply for.

The Platinum American Express Delta Skymiles credit card earns you 20,000 bonus miles, which also include 5,000 Medallion Qualification Miles after your first purchase.  You can get an additional 2,500 miles just for recommending another card member.  You will earn one Coach-Class ticket each year upon renewal of your card.  Every dollar spent earns you one mile, and these miles never expire.  There is no cap on the amount of miles you earn.  You will be able to pay for all or part of your flights, and put the remaining miles on your credit card.

The Delta Reserve Credit Card allows you an annual first-class companion certificate that you can use for one first or coach-class ticket.  You can earn up to 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles after your first purchase, which will also earn you up to 30,000 bonus miles.  This includes a Complimentary Crown Room Club access for you and two other guests, plus you can pay for part or all of your flight with each mile you earn.

American Express Delta Skymiles will definitely help you in the long run if you are a frequent flyer.  Each mile you gain is just another point to help you save money on future flights.  You can use these miles to purchase every day expenses, gift cards or any other airline reward.  If you fly often, this is one reward system that will definitely benefit you in the long run.
